Using the PowerPoint Text Tool |

To add a text box to a powerpoint presentation either click on the text box icon in the drawings menu (shown on the left) or go to 'insert' and select 'text box'. This will change the mouse cursor to an upside down arrow. Click and drag on the presentation page to create your powerpoint text box. |

You should have something looking like this (depending on your background colour). Type some text into the box, this can always be changed at a later date. The text box can be resized by dragging the small white circles, dragging A will let you alter the width and size. If you want the text box rotating you can place the mouse over the green circle. |

Now you can alter the font, font size and many other elements from the text formatting menu. Here you can also add bullet points, number lines add colour to text and add drop shadow to the text. You can alter the text at anytime by simply clicking on the text box. |
